june 23, 2026tuesday

7:00pm
9:00pm

At the beginning of Wynton’s final year as Artistic Director, the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra presents an extremely rare club performance.

Multi GRAMMY award-winning  NEA Jazz Master Wynton Marsalis is the most celebrated and recognizable trumpeter in the world, with his work spanning the gamut of jazz, classical music, and everything in between. A nonpareil ambassador for the art form, Mr. Marsalis has devoted his life to uplifting principles central to jazz: democratic collaboration, soulful introspection, and the mysterious force known as swing.

For almost four decades, the Orchestra has been known worldwide as a precision unit, filled with some of most tightly-knit instrumentalists on earth. The foremost practitioners of the standard practice canon of jazz including Duke Ellington, Dizzy Gillespie, and more, the Orchestra has also generated hundreds of compositions and arrangements by its members and collaborators from renowned artists like Chick Corea and Wayne Shorter.

Don’t miss your chance to see this once-in-a-lifetime performance.
