Guitar mainstays Peter Bernstein and Ed Cherry have been shaping New York City’s jazz scene for decades. Peter’s warm, fat tone meets Ed’s lean, blues-rooted style for a perfect blend of guitar bliss.
Bernstein has played with artists including Lou Donaldson, Joshua Redman, Sonny Rollins, George Coleman, and Brad Mehldau, earning a reputation for his unmistakable tone and musical sensibility.
Cherry moved to NYC in ‘78 to perform with the one and only Dizzy Gillespie, performing in Gillespie’s small groups and large ensembles for over a decade. He’s known as a true guitarist’s guitarist, featured with artists across styles, from Paquito D’Rivera to Roy Hargrove.
If you’re a guitar fan, this is the one for you—two masters, one stage, pure music all night long.
